( HOLLYWOOD, CA ) – The X-Rated Critics Organization is proud to announce its list of nominees for the 2019 XRCO Awards Show. This year’s list features a number of new categories that reflect changes in the adult entertainment industry.
“The XRCO works hard to keep up with our industry,” says XRCO head Dirty Bob. “As critics part of our job is to reflect the evolution of the medium and we have seen a great number of changes in recent years. Our members see thousands of titles each year and their input is vital in helping the organization and our awards adjust accordingly.”
Chief among the changes for the 2019 XRCO Awards are the additions of Best Interracial Series, Best Star Showcase and Trans Performer of the Year. These categories reflect shifts in viewing patterns among porn fans and offer performers and directors in these genres much-deserved recognition.
In addition to the new categories, XRCO has renamed a handful of categories and brought back the popular Teen Dream award.
“Occasionally we retire a category to make room for new ones,” adds Dirty Bob. “And sometimes we bring some back by popular demand. We have the MILFs covered so we wanted to give the sexy coeds their due as well. I’m sure everyone will be pleased.”
The 2019 XRCO Awards will take place in June in the Los Angeles area. Date and location will be released soon.
