LOS ANGELES, CA – (September 16, 2016) – From Aftermath and Holly…Would to the 2016 XRCO Best Parody – Drama award winner Magic Mike XXXL: A Hardcore Parody, Wicked Pictures contract director Brad Armstrong has created some of the past decade’s most critically acclaimed couples’ erotica. His legacy as a successful writer, filmmaker, designer and performer is continuing to grow thanks to the compelling new drama The Preacher’s Daughter. Starring 2014 AVN Best New Starlet Mia Malkova in the titular role and featuring a talented ensemble cast toplined by Alexis Fawx, Xander Corvus and Armstrong himself, this two-disc, gatefold sleeve-encased Collector’s Edition DVD release is now in stores. The production’s safe-for-work, mainstream quality trailer may be viewed on YouTube at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ozwo_S-WEQ8r.

The focus of Armstrong’s dramatic story is Marissa (Malkova), the 19 year-old daughter of a small town preacher. She has always been “Daddy’s little girl” and never gotten into trouble…that is until she meets Billy (AVN and XBIZ Best Actor winner Xander Corvus) the town’s bad boy from the wrong side of the tracks. Before long, the two become lovers, but Marissa’s perfect world is turned upside down as her mother (Alexis Fawx) and father (Armstrong) forbid her from seeing Billy, saying he’s a heathen who’ll ruin her life. But the more they try to drive the two young lovers apart, the stronger their bond grows. The situation finally comes to a boiling point and the family issues an ultimatum –  either never see Billy again or they’ll turn their backs on her forever.

Now it’s up to Marissa…Will she come back to her family and church, or will she risk everything to be with the man she loves?

For his part, Armstrong couldn’t be more pleased with his latest masterwork, which expertly blends dramatic storytelling, compelling performances and passionate sex with some of the controversial themes of his multiple award-winning classic Falling From Grace. “I’m so excited to see what everyone thinks of The Preacher’s Daughter. The entire cast did an incredible job. Each one of them brought their A-game and managed to bring the characters on the page to life.”

Armstrong’s enthusiasm is shared by Ms. Malkova, who found the titular role both relatable and rewarding. “The Preacher’s Daughter is my first Wicked feature lead, and I thoroughly enjoyed being a part of this movie. The entire cast and crew were fantastic and we had a lot of fun on set. I really felt comfortable playing Marissa. She is shy and innocent and that all comes very natural to me.”

The veteran filmmaker has nothing but praise for his ensemble cast, which also features Alexis Fawx, Jessa Rhodes, Mercedes Carrera, Blair Williams and Xander Corvus.  “As a director, I was incredibly impressed by the genuine enthusiasm of the performers to be part of the project and to go the extra mile to make the movie all it could be. As the writer, I was pleasantly surprised by how many of them surpassed my expectations of what I’d envisioned while I was hammering away at the keyboard.”

His cast members are only too eager to return the compliment. “This role is one of my favorites to date,” reveals Mercedes Carrera. “It was such a great opportunity to get to act and become a character from the prolific Brad Armstrong’s script and vision. Being part Native American I particularly enjoying bringing such a character to life, and getting to create a Texan drawl was a challenge I especially relished. Working for Wicked is always a pleasure and this was no exception. Big thanks to Wicked and Brad for including me in this fantastic feature!”

Alexis Fawx savored the opportunity to flex her acting muscles as well. “I absolutely loved being a part of this project,” she raves. “Playing the role of Nancy was a great experience because she is quite the opposite of how I am, and yet she totally reminded me of my hometown!”

Reflecting on the contributions of his cast and crew, Armstrong observes, “The Preacher’s Daughter is an amazing movie and I’m very proud of it. I couldn’t be happier with the finished product. September is a very exciting time for me. I’m doing some of my best work ever. My only problem right now is I can’t decide which movie I like best – The Preacher’s Daughter or DNA, which we’ll release at the end of the month.” An epic sci-fi thriller starring Wicked Girls jessica drake and Asa Akira, DNA arrives in stores September 28th.

The Preacher’s Daughter is available as a two-disc collector’s set. The first disc is devoted to the feature while the second disc is packed with three bonus sex scenes, a sensual still gallery, hardcore trailers and other value-added content unique to the DVD release.  For Domestic Sales please contact Bonnie Kail at 800-737-7838 or email bonnie@wickedpictures.com.
