An Often Forgotten Star

She was born Robin Leiberman in Detroit on May 21, 1962. She grew up and went to school in the area. After her schooling was done Robin began to do some nude modeling for short period of time after she turned eighteen. It was at this point that she changed to her stage name of Janey Robbins. From nude modeling she got herself into porn and between 1981 and 1985 did about 50 or so films. If you add in the various compilations it numbers a little over 100.

While she never became a big name superstar like some of the girls in the 80’s she was always a favorite with her co-stars and directors. One of the main pluses for Janey was that she was very accomplished sexually and enjoyed anal sex, which back then, was somewhat unusual to see in films. What made Ms. Robbins popular was her being one of the most aggressive, most take-charge ladies to ever hit the porn scene. She was a raven-haired vixen with a bombshell figure, she was tall with a huge rack and a body she kept in tip-top shape. While it was her eye popping figure that got her noticed, it was certainly her full-throttle attitude that kept her so busy and a favorite with fellow performers.

Her no-holds-barred attitude kept her name alive in the business well after she retired in 1986, and to this day Janey Robbins continues to pop up in hardcore compilation vids from time to time.
