Disturbed’s Front Man Promotes New Album & Discusses Racism in Rock on Popular NYC Show!

 Disturbed SDR

NEW YORK (August 17, 2015) — The SDR Show, hosted by comedian Big Jay Oakerson and heavy metal disc jockey Ralph Sutton, welcomed David Draiman to their studio this past week.

The front man of legendary rock band Disturbed discussed not only sex, drugs, and rock n roll, but racism in rock and his aversion to social media, among many other subjects, as he promoted his band’s new album, “Immortalized.”

“With five albums – soon to be sixth – and four of them as back-to-back #1 albums, Disturbed dominated the early first decade of the 2000s,” says Sutton. “The band broke up – but now, not only are they announcing a reunion, but releasing a new album – ‘Immortalized’ comes out this week! So imagine my surprise when Warner Brothers Records called me to get David into the studio.”

The SDR Show has an advance peek of Draiman’s interview, available at www.theSDRshow.com/disturbed. The show will officially air Wednesday morning.

“This is the first time a major rock star called us first,” continues Sutton. “And we talked about EVERYTHING: his hot wife, his new kid, the album, and more. This was a true treat, as both Big Jay& I are totally ‘down with the sickness’!”
