The Obsession – Sweet Sinner Films – Director – Jacky St. James – Cast – Abella Danger, Chanel Preston, Adria Rae, Reena Sky, Michael Vegas, Logan Pierce, Jay Smooth.

Jacky St. James is one of adult’s premier directors and her work on the Emma Marx franchise is all the proof that’s needed. However, if more is needed then this latest offering of hers seals the deal. Since moving over to Sweet Sinner, this release may well be the best of everything Ms. St. James has done. It is a very deep, dark psychological drama that will literally have you on the edge of your seat, not knowing what may happen next in this taut story line. In the lead role of Michele is Abella Danger, who is, to me, one of the best true actresses in adult films today. Add another incredible actress and performer in Chanel Preston in the role of Mandy and you have a powerful duo that take this drama to very highly erotic and suspenseful level rarely seen in adult.

The premise of the film revolves around Mandy and Michele. Mandy thinks Michele, who is a coworker, would be the perfect roommate. All seems well until Michele misinterprets an innocent comment that sends Michele into a total infatuation with Mandy that starts to bother her. However she feels maybe she is being way too cautious about it. On the other hand she also feels something isn’t right. So she digs around into Michele’s past and what she discovers is that things with her roomie are a lot more sinister and darker than she could have ever imagined. Now the big question is whether it is too late as well as too dangerous to end their arrangement?

Right from the opening with Abella moving in and Chanel welcoming her with a gold bracelet you already get a strange feeling. There is something in the look of Abella that just spells trouble, but it is early in the film. However it doesn’t take long before you begin to see that Abella is not the stable girl she pretends to be. When it comes to the sex scenes Abella has a hand in several. There is the opening sex scene with Chanel and boyfriend Michael Vegas that is very intense and that Abella observes from the doorway without their knowledge. There is a solo scene that she does using one of Chanel’s toys and with pics of Chanel all over the bed as she gets off in a very steamy scene that will get you going.

Chanel’s sister Adria Rae and her fiancé’ Jay Smooth come for a visit. Chanel has no use for her sister’s boyfriend, or does she? What happens after dinner Abella sees and that is another case of Abella turning the tables and making things more difficult. Finally Chanel decides it’s time to do some digging and comes across Reena Sky who had a big run in with Abella a few years ago and when she finds out more from Reena about her new roomie, Chanel is scared and not sure what to do or how to handle everything. Michael ios her sounding board and he is even beginning to wonder how to combat this situation. In the meantime Abella has her own plot going on how she is going to get back at Chanel and cause all kinds of trouble. Little does Michael know that he will be the center piece for this dirty turn of events by Abella.

There is a lot more that goes on in this thriller that you will not want to miss. There are unexpected twists and turns and just watching Abella and “that look” you know something is about to happen, but just not sure what or how. As for how this all turns out between these two ladies in the end, you will just have to get this film and find out. Ms. St. James has created a really edgy, dark feature here that should be a worthy nom during awards season in several areas. Everything plays well into this drama, the lighting, music, settings, the casting and the pace it is played out at. The sexual scenes are a good mix of everything from mild to wild, from steamy to sizzling hot. The acting is extremely solid to make this production very realistic and believable. I can see both Abella Danger and Chanel Preston being nominated for awards for their blistering performances in this film. Kudos go to the entire cast for a job well done. The cinematography and the visual pictures it creates is excellent and paints just the right canvas.

If you are looking for a top notch dramatic, good story and plot film, you have found it with Jacky St. James “The Obsession” from Sweet Sinner Films. It is my “Friday 5 Star Feature” here on AAN and I highly recommend getting hold of it.
