LOS ANGELES, CA / TAMPA, FL – (November 2, 2016) – VH1 Behind The Music staple Bob Seger famously sang “I used her, she used me, but neither one cared – we were getting our share” in his 70s radio anthem “Night Moves.” Similarly, with the 24th Annual NightMoves Awards winners recently unveiled, the visionary directors of Wicked Pictures are receiving their share of the glory, earning several of the night’s most coveted awards and honors. Director Stormy Daniels’ breakout Wicked / Adam & Eve blockbuster Wanted received the organization’s biggest movie honor, the coveted Editor’s Choice award for Best Feature Production, while filmmaker Axel Braun swept the Best Parody categories. Hosted by adult superstars Ron Jeremy and Julia Ann, along with emcees JJ Nunn and Gia Nova, the gala event was held at the Tampa Gold Club in Tampa, Florida.

In addition to her Best Feature Production award, veteran writer, filmmaker and performer Daniels also received the Fans Choice award for Best Director.  Parody king Braun secured a similarly impressive collection of awards, including Best Director – Parody (Fans Choice)  and Best Parody Release (Fans Choice), the latter for his multi-award winning Wicked Fairy Tales hit Peter Pan XXX: An Axel Braun Parody.  Braun’s Wicked Comix smash hit Suicide Squad XXX: An Axel Braun Parody was honored with the coveted NightMoves “First Choice” accolade and a Best Body (Fans Choice) award for co-star (and ABP contract beauty) Riley Steele. In addition to its critical success, Suicide Squad XXX is #1 on the Adult Video News Top 150 Overall Sales & Rentals charts.

In a prepared statement, event organizers announced, “The NightMoves Awards were started in 1993 and are the third oldest continuously running adult awards show in the United States. The NightMoves Awards are an offshoot of NightMoves Magazine, owned and operated by Paul and Tracy Allen. The NightMoves Awards were the first to allow fans to select the winners, making it the original fan based awards. They were also the first awards show to allow online voting.”

Reflecting on the most recent show, publisher Paul Allen adds, “What a great week! We had record numbers show up. The clubs were happy, the girls were happy, and the fans were happy—and that’s what counts! See you next year, where we’ll do it all again!”

About Wicked Pictures: Established in Canoga Park, California on March 1, 1993, Wicked Pictures was formed with a firm commitment to producing quality adult productions created specifically for women and couples, a decision the company has stayed true to for over twenty years, even when this mission has seemed at odds with prevailing economic trends. And after a health scare in 1998 led many companies to begin instituting policies of mandatory condom usage, Wicked is the only producer still safeguarding performers’ health by continuing to adhere to this policy over seventeen years later. Wicked continues to diversify its commitment to couples’ intimacy through such initiatives as the romance-driven Wicked Passions label, niche imprints like Wicked Comix and Wicked Fairy Tales, the AVN / XBIZ award-winning educational series “jessica drake’s Guide to Wicked Sex” and the Wicked Sensual Care Collection of luxurious lubricants and enhancers. These forward-thinking ventures allow Wicked to explore new ground while staying true to its vision of producing quality adult entertainment and strengthening its appeal to women and couples.
