Unbridled – Wicked Pictures – Director – Stormy Daniels – Cast – Stormy Daniels, Lyra Law, Alana Cruise, Rachel Starr, Dick Chibbles, Marcus London, Michael Vegas, Ryan Driller.

Right from the start let me say this. Get the award nominations ready because this latest epic film from Ms. Daniels could well be one of the biggest of the year. Following up her smash hit western “Wanted” with this very dramatic, expansive production was quite the challenge. But suffice to say, Ms. Daniels as writer, director, equestrian and star, was up to it and brought this very riveting story to life with a very solid cast, incredible settings and some take your breath away visuals of the Texas landscape. Then add in some scorching sex scenes and you have yourself a very award worthy film.

The story and plot revolve around Avery Montgomery (Stormy Daniels). She lost her horse due to an accident, gave up her riding career, moved to New York to start a new life. However ten years later she discovers her family’s ranch is about to be auctioned off by the bank. The only chance the family has to save the ranch is to enter and win the Big Star Horse Trials. This puts Avery in a tough spot as to whether to return to Texas and bad memories along with her old trainer Grant (Marcus London). There is also one other problem to deal with, a greedy rancher who will do just about anything to get hold of Thunder Creek, the Montgomery ranch. Then there is also Avery’s sister Joey (Lyra Law) who has kept a secret that could really ruin everything in every way. So what to do?

Right from the start seeing the broad expanse of the Texas countryside, the old buildings in town, the homes, the horses and then the drone aerial shots of the ranch and grounds over the opening credits, you know this is going to be a very special film. We get to see the problems facing the ranch right in the beginning as the rancher who wants Thunder Creek comes by with an offer before the auction but is turned down. That sets the wheels in motion for this drama as the scene switches to New York and Avery coming back to her place with Darren (Ryan Driller) after working on a project together. Of course that leads into the first steamy sex scene. Now it’s back to the country and the ranch.

Joey is very nervous about riding in this big show, but her dad Wes (Jay Crew) is confident she can do it. Joey wants him to call Avery and let her know about the problems they are having but he is stubborn and says he will tell her, but only if she calls him. Later that night Joey sneaks out to meet her boyfriend Cody (Michael Vegas). What she doesn’t know is that the rancher is his father who wants Thunder Creek and tells Michael he is going to ride in the show and do whatever he can to make sure he wins and not Joey. What to do? Michael meets Joey out in the country and after a sizzling sexual romp under the sun he tells her about his dads plan and now Joey is really upset.

Again the switch to New York when Avery gets a call from her dad telling her that Joey is in the hospital after a fall from her horse during practice. She gets back to Texas and finds out the real story about the ranch, the auction, the need to win the horse show and the dirty work of the rancher who wants Thunder Creek. All of this comes as a shock to Avery and now she must make a huge decision. Go back to riding and dealing with her ex trainer Grant, let her dad and sister figure things out and go back to her life in New York. She has an argument with her dad at the hospital but then a few things about why she left for New York come out, but still she has a big decision to make if the ranch is going to be saved. Is it her problem now or just her dad’s and sisters?

There is a lot that takes place from this point on and as much as I’d like to give you more details I am going to leave that for you to see and enjoy for yourself. However, I will tell you to be ready for some big surprises (like a familiar face as one of the show riders), twists and turns and some incredible scenes as this story and plot line evolve to its conclusion. There will even be a couple scenes where you might shed a tear or two. Once again Stormy Daniels has hit a grand slam with this epic feature. The cinematography is exceptional, the real backgrounds and settings give this a total mainstream feel, the acting by a very solid and gifted cast is above par to bring each character to life and the writing and direction from Ms. Daniels is superb as always. Special props to Leo, a star in his own right. The sex scenes add plenty of eroticism to the overall story and are fit in at the right time and place. This latest production ranks up there with her much awarded “Wanted”, so get the award nominations ready for “Unbridled” our “Friday 5 Star Feature” on AAN. I also want to add that it was a class move by Ms. Daniels to include a fitting dedication to Meghan Wren during the closing credits.
