LOS ANGELES, CA / LONDON, UK — (APRIL 29, 2015) — Just one business day after Axel Braun issued two exclusive desktop wallpapers for his upcoming Wicked Comix release Batman v Superman XXX: An Axel Braun Parody, the filmmaker’s most ambitious superhero parody to date is now the subject of a major MTV UK profile. The British hub of the global entertainment giant posted an illustrated report on its website Tuesday based largely on information sourced directly from Braun’s Twitter feed. The respected news source credited the director’s tantalizing social media posts with “sending DC Comics (and porn fans) into a frenzy!”
Titled ‘Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice’ the Porno is Coming… No Really, the enthusiastic piece throws a welcome spotlight on the parody’s cover art (a dramatic rendering of Giovanni Francesco and Ryan Driller in their roles as Batman and Superman) alongside some trademark Braun social media banter: “Awesome Bat-Armor? Check. Clever tag line? Check. A movie that will be WAY more fun than @BatmanvSuperman? CHECK!”
The story also reproduces one of the film’s exclusive new wallpapers, a sexy rendering of Kleio Valentine as Harley Quinn, Alison Tyler as Wonder Woman, 2015 AVN Best New Starlet & Best Actress winner Carter Cruise as Supergirl and such other comely co-stars as Britney Amber and Aiden Ashley. With a nod toward the mixed reactions photos of Jared Leto as The Joker have received from fans and purists, the article also featured an oft-retweeted shot of Brendon Miller‘s rendition of the iconic character from Batman v Superman XXX, with Braun slyly characterizing Miller’s look as “WAY creepier than @JaredLeto.”
The second release in the Wicked Comix imprint (following the current Editor’s Choice Barbarella XXX: An Axel Braun Parody), Batman v Superman XXX will go into general release online and in stores at the end of May – nearly one year before Ben Affleck and Henry Cavill get to battle it out on the big screen.
