Kelly Holland Discuss Convergence of Erotic
Content & Mainstream Entertainment

LOS ANGELES (January 4, 2016) Mindbrowse.com will bring together members of the adult entertainment industry for “It’s Porn, Not HBO,” a seminar at the 2016 XBIZ Show on the growing convergence between erotic content and mainstream entertainment.
The event will be held at 1 p.m. on January 13 at the Andaz Hotel, Studio 4, in West Hollywood.
“It’s Porn, Not HBO” will provide a platform to discuss the blending of mainstream and erotic genres and what it means for artists and entrepreneurs across markets. The possible competition of the adult industry with HBO, Showtime, and other networks for the attention of porn fans will also be explored.
“The panel will address a convergence of entertainment genres, which represents a huge opportunity for adult companies, provided it is handled carefully and judiciously,” said Angie Rowntree, owner of Sssh.com and the producer of Mindbrowse’s events. “We can’t just assume because ‘Game of Thrones’ has a lot of sex in it, the doors to Hollywood have suddenly been flung open to the adult industry. This is a development and potential relationship we need to nurture carefully, mindful of the risk of pushing the envelope too far and unintentionally taking steps backwards.”
Managing Director of Penthouse Media Kelly Holland will moderate the event, which is comprised of some of the most influential women to the evolution of sexual stigmas in America:
  • jessica drake: Wicked Pictures contract star, sex educator and producer / director of the best selling series, “jessica drake’s Guide to Wicked Sex.”
  • Jacky St. James: New Sensations’ award-winning writer and director.
  • Kelly Shibari: Plus size model / adult performer and size acceptance advocate.
The discussion will be live-streamed on Mindbrowse.com and live tweeted by 7Veils Media through #SexTalkTuesday, an XBIZ Award nominated Twitter chat. Fans may follow the hashtag for the live Twitter feed, or watch the Twitter feed on SexTalkTuesday.com. The discussion will be archived on Mindbrowse.com for free viewing any time on-demand.
