Groundbreaking Indie Film, Blending Hardcore Sex
with Compelling Narrative, Helps Redefine Adult Cinema!
 Marriage 2.0
NEW YORK (March 4, 2015) – The groundbreaking film “Marriage 2.0” received the coveted award for “Best Narrative” at New York’s CineKink 2015 film festival on Sunday, March 1. The film, produced by LionReach Productions and distributed by Adam & Eve, features powerful sexual performances from adult stars along with compelling narrative.
Adult performer Andre Shakhti, who played Athena in the film, accepted the award on behalf of the film’s producers, cast, and crew.
We are very grateful for this amazing honor from CineKink,” said Marriage 2.0 screenwriter and producer Magnus Sullivan. “Our goal was to create a movie that happens to have sex but is not necessarily an adult film. We wanted to redefine how sex can be used in an artistic and meaningful way in films, and I believe we succeeded.”

“Marriage 2.0 is a beautiful and artistic look at the changing nature of our relationships, and the growing phenomenon of consensual non-monogamy,” said CineKink Founder Lisa Vandever. “What especially attracted me to the film is how it deals with potential conflicts like jealousy and insecurity, not glossing them over, but showing the importance of communication and honesty in moving beyond them to reap the potential rewards at hand.”
The film, widely considered a groundbreaking effort that has redefined the potential of adult cinema, is earning strong accolades from industry critics.
In a recent review of “Marriage 2.0,” XBIZ Editor Dan Miller hailed the film’s pioneering approach to filmmaking: “Fueled by rich visual storytelling, superlative acting and a prevailing feeling of authenticity, director Paul Deeb’s “Marriage 2.0” shows just how deep adult cinema can go with the right mix of talent and imagination.”
XCritic’s Don Houston praised the movie as well. He wrote, “The movie had ample wit and insider nods to please those with greater knowledge of the lifestyle choices offered up, as well as the erotic content so devoid from both porn and mainstream releases these days. The movie is a home run for the partnership to promote AdamAndEveTV.com far better than press releases or sponsorships. The movie did not come across as written to please a corporate committee either, the twists and turns the characters went through showing their range of acting ability to earn a rating of Highly Recommended.”
“Marriage 2.0” features performances from adult entertainment stars such as India Summer, Ryan Driller, Dylan Ryan, Nina Hartley, and Mickey Mod, along with appearances from internationally renowned sex and relationship experts such as Emily Morse and Reid Mihalko. The film follows a couple (India Summer and Ryan Driller) on their search for personal freedom, as well as emotional and sexual bliss within the context of an honest and committed modern relationship.
“Marriage 2.0” delves into the nature of commitment and relationships by weaving hardcore sex into a compelling, touching, and controversial narrative, which ultimately drives a film that challenges the portrayal of sex in cinema.
Cinekink, which ran from February 24 to March 1, was established in 2003 as an effort to recognize and encourage positive depictions of sexuality and kink in film and television. The annual event features film dramas, comedies, documentaries as well as a variety of shorts and videos from filmmakers around the world.

LionReach Productions is the brainchild of Magnus Sullivan, a screenwriter and producer from the Bay Area. It earned star India Summer the 2012 AVN Awards Best Actress trophy. “Marriage 2.0,” Sullivan’s first film produced by LionReach, exponentially expands on the scope of “An Open Invitation,” making the Bay Area itself a character. “San Francisco is at the center of a relationship revolution,” Sullivan says, “And we aim to capture that in our movies.”  For more information on LionReach Productions’ new release, “Marriage 2.0,” visit http://marriage2point0movie.com.
