(Montreal, QC / November 30, 2017) — Gamma Films Group’s adult production studios and content sites Girlsway, PureTaboo and Pretty Dirty have been honored with 53 AVN Awards nominations for 2018.
“So much love and appreciation to everyone at AVN for backing us while we were creating these incredible films with amazing people,” said Bree Mills, the studios’ principal director and Gamma Films’ Head of Production.
Girlsway led the nomination pack with 38 award nominations, including three nominations for Best Action/Thriller, three nominations for Best All-Girl Group Sex Scene, three nominations for Best Makeup, five nominations for Best Special Effects and a nomination each for directors Bree Mills and Stills by Alan.
The lesbian erotica site was also nominated for its Dream Pairings scenes (Best New Series), its Girl of the Month campaign (Best Marketing Campaign – Individual Project) and WebYoung, Girlsway’s teen site, also earned a nod for Panty Raid (Best All-Girl Movie).
New ‘forbidden-themed’ studio Pure Taboo knocked it out of the park with Half His Age: A Teenage Tragedy, earning 11 award nominations, including Best Boy/Girl Sex Scene, Best Cinematography, Best Director-Feature (for Bree Mills and Craven Moorehead), Best Drama, Best Editing and Best Soundtrack.
The title also garnered four acting award nominations for Charles Dera (Best Actor), Jill Kassidy (Best Actress), Small Hands (Best Supporting Actress) and Kristen Scott (Best Supporting Actress).
Gamma Film’s Pretty Dirty studio picked up four nominations as well: Most Outrageous Sex Scene, Best Actor for Derrick Pierce in Indirect Relations, Best Ingénue Movie and Best Oral Sex Scene.
