Justice League XXX – An Axel Braun Parody – Wicked Comix – Director – Axel Braun – Cast – Romi Rain, Charlotte Stokely, Jessica drake, Katrina Jade, Lena Paul, Dana Vespoli, Jessa Rhodes, August Ames, Aiden Ashley, Ryan Driller, Giovanni Francesco, Derrick Pierce, Xander Corvus, Tyler Nixon

It was the recipient of the First Choice Award at our 25th Annual NightMoves Adult Awards Show on Oct. 8. This latest parody from Braun is his biggest production and another all around winner with many awards and nominations yet to come. In addition to a bevy of stars returning  like Ryan Driller as Superman, Giovanni Francesco as Batman, jessica drake as Cat Grant and Derrick Pierce as Lex Luthor, Braun has added some power packed performers in very key roles. They include, in particular, Romi Rain as Wonder Woman and Charlotte Stokely as Batwoman. Plain and simple get the award noms ready! Not to be outdone there are some excellent performances from Lena Paul, Xander Corvus, Katrina Jade, Jessa Rhodes, August Ames, Tyler Nixon, Aiden Ashley and Dana Vespoli making this expansive, dramatic and action packed vehicle the complete entertainment package in every way.

The film opens with galactic shots of the universe and planet earth and then we see Knockout (Jessica Rhodes) summoned by Lashina (August Ames) from another planet preparing to invade earth. Knockout is to go to planet earth and find Superman, the one stumbling block there is before Lashina’s people invade earth. Of course they have no idea what they are in for. Then it switches to Cat Grant’s TV show and film clips of the world today, the riots, mother nature, wars, terrorists and the like. Then we are at the gym with Dana Vespoli reprising her “Lefty” role working out in the ring with Diana/Wonder Woman. Before they can get something going after their workout, Jordan, an Air Force officer shows up to talk with Diana, so Lefty leaves them. Turns out he is actually the Green Lantern (Xander Corvus) and he tells Diana why he is here and what needs to be done. It doesn’t take much for these two to get into a very explosive sex scene before getting to the business at hand, which is getting all the super heroes to work together to thwart this impending invasion.

From there we now go out on the farm and see a very disheveled Clark/Superman working and then on the mountainside Knockout appears. She reports back to Lashina and thinks the man she sees is cannot be who they are after, but it is. Knockout approaches him about joining their army but he has no interest in anything. He says he has no powers, doesn’t care and for her to go back where she came from but Knockout figures sex can convince him. Then we see Diana show up at Bruce Wayne/Batman) place to convince him to get everyone together. But he is married now to Selina Kyle/Catwoman (Adrien Ashley) who also happens to be pregnant. He is also convinced Superman will never return because he has pretty much given up since the death of Lois Lane. Still, despite some questions Bruce and Diana will move ahead to get everyone together to fight the impending invasion from the Planet Apocalypse. Switch to Lana Lang (Lena Paul) who saw him with Knockout, but she still wants to convince Clark that he can still be what he was and can still help people and the world. Clark is having none of it and walks out on her.

Next we get introduced to Batwoman who runs off some guys trying to hack into a computer and then has her first meeting with Wonder Woman. She explains her hatred for Batman and why she is what she is. By way of the dialogue Batwoman makes it clear she prefers the ladies. It doesn’t take long before these two get into a very steamy, explosive sexual encounter. It will be this encounter between the two of them that ultimately gets Batwoman to join forces with the rest though it is very clear she is in it for the women and her own personal reasons.

There is much more going on and taking place in this two and half hour film. I could fill two pages on this blockbuster but I will leave it at this point so you can see it all for yourself. One thing I will say is that in another Cat Grant scene on her TV show her guest is Lex Luthor and the interview exchange between them is right out of today’s news. See how these super heroes finally come together, how they will fight evil, how Superman returns, the arrival of the Flash (Tyler Nixon) and a lot more in this very dramatic and also humorous, detailed, epic parody. It has everything and more that you would expect from Axel Braun, including an unexpected ending. (Could there be a sequel in the works??) It is a very skilled, nom worthy cast, realistic storyline, , good special effects, fitting music, top notch costuming and makeup and of course some sizzling sex scenes that have a little bit of everything, lesbian, group, one on one and more to blend everything together in a very tight package.

This might well be the best parody, from every standpoint, that Axel Braun has done to this point. If there is such a thing as an awards sweep, this film may be it come January and April to add on to the First Choice award! Whatever you do, do not miss this release as it is one colossal, exceptionally executed film.

One final note: This 2 disc set is loaded with some great extras including BTS footage and a complete non sex version, a collector poster and character cards plus other extras to make this one of the most jam packed releases of the year.
