Multitalented DJ / artist / entertainer Carter Cruise made a serious name for herself in 2014 and has continued her rise to stardom in the first month of 2015. When she’s not winning XBIZ & AVN Awards for Best Actress and Best New Starlet, she’s been writing viral pieces, traveling the world, and honing her craft DJing in the studio. Only one month in to 2015, there’s no telling where the year will lead her.

Cruise’s first song release “DUNNIT” features the starlet alongside rapper Crichy Crich, and was produced by Styles&Complete. Since it’s recent release, the track surpassed 100k plays and has been written up all over the internet. The artists were lucky enough to get Buygore Records’ attention with the record, releasing it on the label as a free record.

“This song is about embracing your inner wild child,” said Cruise. “We’ve all got a more sexual, animalistic side, but so many people try and hide it and act like they’re better than everyone else, when really they’re just not being honest with themselves. Growing up where I did, and being a debutante and a sorority girl, I knew a lot of people who were straight-laced, judgmental pricks during the week, but you’d see them wasted on friday night doing all the things they pretended to be against. ‘DUNNIT’ is calling those people out and saying, ‘hey, you, we know what’s up, stop acting like you’re too good to get a little ratchet sometimes.’ Crichy absolutely kills the verses, and combined with Styles&Complete’s signature production style, the track really turned out great. I’m excited for people to hear it and, of course, rage to it!”
