Fraternity House Leaders Introduce Sex Education During Pledge Week

LOS ANGELES, CA (October 10, 2017) – Adult entertainment superstar Tasha Reign will discuss consent, sexual boundaries and more at UCLA’s Alpha Epsilon Pi fraternity house during a special speaking appearance at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, October 11 as part of Pledge Week.
The event is not open to the public, but Reign and other adult film stars are available to speak about consent nationwide. For booking information or media inquiries, contact Adella@ForwardApproachMarketing.com
“Consent is one of the most important and serious issues that college students are facing,” Reign said. “I am excited and honored to speak about boundaries and respect, and to lay a foundation which will help members of AEPi navigate sexual experiences in a responsible manner. Sex education is a powerful, and often overlooked tool that would greatly benefit young adults.”
With growing number of incidents of sexual assault, rape and sexual harassment on college campuses around the country, Tasha Reign and others have been speaking out to raise awareness on the importance of consent and respect.

“I believe the most important people to influence are college students because they set the precedent and social norms for the future,” she added. “I want to make this a nationwide program, where adult actresses come to pledge week to discuss sex, consent and how to interact with women.”
A 2014 UCLA graduate with a Bachelor’s Degree in Women’s Studies, Reign has been outspoken about her support for women’s rights and women’s sexual freedom as well as an advocate for normalizing sexuality and advancing the rights of sex workers. She played a pivotal role in helping defeat the anti-porn Prop. 60 last year by campaigning vigorously and raising awareness through the media, as noted in The Guardian last fall.

In addition to being published in notable mainstream media outlets such as Huffington Post, Al Jazeera America, BroBible.com, and OC Weekly, Reign has also participated in a number of panel discussions and presentations at college campuses. Moreover, her  writings have been featured in such collegiate websites as Total Sorority Move and BroBible. Reign’s time at UCLA has been profiled in the school’s paper, The Daily Bruin, as well as LA Weekly and other publications.
A Penthouse Pet and a contract star for iWantEmpire after serving as an Elegant Angel exclusive performer, Reign is a sought-after speaker, performer and director, as well as continuing to be one of the biggest draws at premier gentlemen’s clubs all around the country. Despite her busy schedule, Reign continues to direct and produce original content for her popular TashaReign.com site while remaining very active with her fans whom she calls her “Reigndeer” on social media.

As the newly-elected Chairperson of Adult Performer Advocacy Committee, a workplace safety advocacy group for adult performers, Reign is dedicating herself to fighting for the rights of adult performers as well as all women overall.

Meanwhile, Reign, plans to attend graduate school in the fall where she will focus on writing and journalism.

About Tasha Reign:
Tasha Reign is a dynamic and multi-dimensional star in entertainment. Tasha began dancing regularly at gentlemen’s clubs, while pursuing a degree in Women’s Studies from UCLA. The 5’5” SoCal beauty was featured in Playboy 2010’s “Girls of the Pac-10” and named May 2011 Penthouse Pet of the Month. A desire to further explore her sexuality led Tasha to adult films, where she is one of the most sought-after porn stars, appearing in movies for the top studios. Tasha’s acclaimed performances were recognized with a 2014 Female Performer of the Year nomination at the XBIZ Awards and most recently winning the title for Best Website at the 2017 AVN Awards.

In seven years as a performer, Reign has used her porn notoriety to challenge the misconception of women’s treatment and objectification in a business where women’s bodies are their primary currency for use – and potential abuse. Reign has since created her own film company, Reign Productions, launched her own podcast on iTunes, Through My Rose Colored Lenses, regularly lectures on university panels and continues to write articles for publications such as Huffington Post, BroBible and Galore Magazine to further shatter the negative illusion of an industry that simply serves to entertain.
